Our aim at Southampton Freight Services Ltd is to work with like minded, small/medium sized privately owned companies, acting as our global network of agents. By joining specialised networks we are able to tap into local knowledge and expertise … providing us with a global network of wonderful experience and understanding of the local requirements, keeping us one step ahead at all times.

We work with many different companies according to strengths – such as air, ocean or project cargo and cruise related services, thus ensuring we are providing structured, competitive and resourceful services around the globe, all tailored to meet the individual requirements of the client or the type of cargo. We do this by accessing several small networks of like minded freight forwarding companies around the world, allowing us to cherry pick the very best agents to partner. This is something the large, multinational freight forwarding companies are unable to do.

Our vision is to build a strong WLA Community/family, which will result to become the best worldwide freight forwarding network, providing the most benefits to our members.

One WLA network that you are proud and excited to be part of.

Our commitment is to facilitate the development of relationships between members through our networking activities and provide you with value added in your business through our products and services. We expect that you will witness value added in your business in different ways – aside from the more visible signs on a profit sheet.

We are neutral, as we are not freight forwarders, so we can focus on your needs in expanding your business within your own country and internationally.

We believe linking people, combining our strengths and forces and working together will result in benefits for all our members. These benefits include providing more cost effective products and services and building a stronger market awareness for all our members.

The WLA package of products and services reflects what we have learnt from our own experiences in this industry and others as well as from discussions with freight forwarders. We are committed to continue these conversations with you. Together we can create a community that really delivers to its members what they need from a freight forwarders’ network and beyond.

We understand the challenges of being established as well as those of being ‘green’. WLA is pleased to be able to offer a tiered membership program. The opportunity for brand new freight forwarders or to those that have less than 24 months in the industry, this will mean a network that supports you in your want to be part of a global network.

For our more experienced members, we will be providing opportunities for you to grow even further by providing a healthy and vibrant networking community for you to be part of. We are offering you a range of products and services that we believe will meet and exceed our competitors’ offerings. We intend to keep on building on these offerings as more members come on board, making the most of the knowledge and expertise that more members can bring to a network. We intend to keep on investing in the network to provide you with a network you are proud to be part of.

 

We attended the WLA conference in Istanbul, Turkey in September 2012 and are extremely proud to be associated with a family of sincere, honest and hard working professionals that can only improve the way in which Southampton Freight Services Ltd operates.
